The Course

As a business owner, you can become consumed focusing on the day-to-day management when your business needs you to be a leader. This course challenges owners to become more strategic, organized and stronger leaders.

The course covers six areas that are crucial to a successful, thriving business: Business Planning and Strategy, Team Management, Selling and Upselling, Improving Client Loyalty, Marketing Strategy and How to Become a CEO.

Each module contains information that specifically targets this industry and shares proven, not idealized, concepts. Many of these concepts have been implemented by Lauren and her team at Lashforever Canada.

The course includes a 75-minute complimentary catered lunch where you can chat one-on-one with the instructors, network with other business owners, examine Lashforever Canada’s products, or just catch up on your emails. The course begins at 10:00am sharp and ends at 4:30pm with an optional 30-minute Question and Answer period from 4:30-5:00.

Linda Haines

Linda is a Marketing and Business Consultant that specializes in the Beauty and Retail Industry. With over 20 years of working with SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises), she has a wealth of experience helping business owners navigate the challenges of “wearing too many hats” and to marketing their businesses in the digital age.

Linda has written numerous business, marketing and design articles published in Spa Management Magazine, The Canadian Hairdresser, Style at Home, Renovation and Décor, and Parent Style. She has presented business and marketing seminars at the Allied Beauty Association.

Nicole Lamont
Nicole is a Business Manager and Educator specializing in the beauty industry. With over eight years experience in developing award-winning teams, and post graduate studies in teaching and training adults, Nicole focuses on sales education to build client relationships and maximize brand profitability. Nicole is excited to share her passion and knowledge of the beauty industry in this course, and demonstrate how to increase sales through employee engagement and productivity. 
Lauren Spencer
Lauren is an innovator and leader in the beauty industry. She was the first to launch and academy of her kind. Consisting of services, training and distribution. Training over 5000 artists across North America, Lauren is also the brains behind the Lashforever Canada and HDi Embroidery Brow brand of products. Her passion is beauty, however she has learned that passion needs to be supported by planning, strategy and surrounding yourself with a good team. In this course, Lauren will share some of her experiences as she grew from a small business in her mother’s basement to a business with distributors and trainers across Canada.
